| ESAND is a
professional association for all school office professionals in
North Dakota. Membership is open to school secretaries, business
managers, higher ed office professionals, and state department
personnel. |
| ESAND is a division
of the North Dakota Council of Educational Leaders and is governed
by a Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is comprised of
one member from each of the four regions--SW, NW, SE, and NE. |
| A statewide
conference is held each year in October in conjunction with the
NDCEL conference. This provides ESAND members an excellent
opportunity to hear outstanding keynote speakers in addition to
attending breakout sessions designed just for office
professionals. Regional meetings are held in April on a variety of
subjects (i.e. stress management, dispensing meds). |
| An important benefit
of attending the statewide conference and regional meetings is the
chance for peer contact. These meetings provide members the
opportunity to meet and discuss problems and issues with peers
from across the state. |
| ESAND publishes a
newsletter four times a year which features articles on a variety
of topics. |
