CONFERENCES: |

ESAND
provides an annual conference for the professional growth and
interaction of its members. The conference offers educational
programs and professional development opportunities. This
conference is planned by North Dakota school secretaries for North
Dakota school secretaries. |

REGIONAL MEETINGS: |
| |
In
addition to the annual conference, ESAND offers regional meetings.
ESAND is represented by four regions and each region has the
opportunity to hold meetings every year. Discussions on a
wide-range of topics help participants with their professional and
personal life. |

PUBLICATIONS: |

ESAND
publishes a newsletter four times a year which features articles
on a variety of topics and brimming with practical, hands-on ideas
that secretaries can use in their schools. ESAND also distributes
an employment survey full of helpful information about other
schools. |

PEER CONTACT: |

One of
the most valuable ESAND membership benefits is the chance to get
together with other school secretaries in North Dakota. At the
fall conference and regional meetings, members have the
opportunity to discuss common problems and share information and
ideas with others facing similar challenges. |

SCHOLARSHIP: |

Dependent
children of active ESAND members are eligible to apply for a
scholarship (minimum amount of $100). |
